Graduate of the University of Tampa, B.S. 1986, with honors, and Stetson University College of Law, J. D. 1992, with high honors. Ms. Kenney is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Jacksonville Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the Federal Courts for the Northern, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Ms. Kenney is a real estate and business law attorney whose practice focuses on complex commercial transactions. Her familiarity with the practicalities of the litigation process allows knowledgeable evaluation of the potential risks and benefits of the courses of action available to clients. Special projects counsel to Southeast regional bank handling all “lending limit” transactions and consultation on atypical lending situations with recent emphasis on problem loan documentation review and correction, foreclosure support, workouts, and forbearance agreements. Experienced with the ownership, operation and leasing of commercial and industrial properties throughout Florida, and the Southeast. General counsel for ILF/ALF developer/operator and related management company. Outside general counsel for several property management companies and related investors with holdings throughout the Southeast. Ms. Kenney has extensive experience representing both borrowers and lenders with regard to construction loans, permanent mortgage loans and re financings for industrial, senior living, office, commercial and multi-family residential projects.

Appointed by the Secretary of State of the State of Florida in 2010, Ms. Kenney is one of the few Civil Law Notaries authorized to practice in the State of Florida.
